Known limitations on cameras:
Camera uses Lithium Polymer batteries for operation when solar or external power is not available. In Alaska, from October until March, unit will have periods of non-operation during cold or extended cloudy weather. Low temperature limit of batteries is +4 F for use and +32 F for recharging. Camera has been tested down to -40 F with bright sunshine or external power connected.
Pan-Tilt motor may cease to function at temperatures below -15 F.
Camera lens is not heated and will be subject to frost, rain, dust. Protecting camera with an overhead cover may minimize this problem.
Motion detection may trigger on any movement increasing power usage. Leaves, branches, hanging objects, etc might need to be cleared or relocated.
Camera contains software and hardware developed and connected to entities located in other countries including China which may be limited by United States or other country government action.
Full service package does not include coverage for loss or theft of camera.
