Serenity Lake is a named lake in Alaska located in the Matanuska-Susitna Borough. Public access to the Northeast portion of this lake is available by foot, snow machine or dog sled team in winter. Summer access is difficult due to high water in marsh areas. Only stickleback fish are present in this lake.
The Knik 200 dog sled race crosses the North shore of this lake in January. The Iditarod race trail in the year 2000 crossed this location.
This lake has several private properties on South-East through North-West sides of the lake. No public road access is available to the lake.
Serenity Lake Communications and Serenity Farms are located on this lake.
2,000 feet of the west side of the lake is owned by Oxford Acres Investments II, an Alaska genera partnership. The Matanuska-Susitna Borough “My Property” web site has limited information. For information on purchase of property or purchase of a share in the partnership, send email to mailto:admin@serenitylake.com
